SEVERIDADE DAS CRISES EPILÉPTICAS E QUALIDADE DE VIDA DOS PACIENTESCOM EPILEPSIA FARMACORRESISTENTE EM USO DE DIETA CETOGÊNICA

RESUMO
Objetivos: Analisar em uma população de pacientes brasileiros com Epilepsia Farmacorresistente (EFR) realizando DC se a severidade das crises piora a QV dos mesmos. Métodos: Estudo analítico observacional transversal. Dados clínico-demográficos foram obtidos dos pacientes, que responderam aos questionários GASE e SSQ para aferir a severidade da epilepsia, bem como a um inventário para diagnóstico de depressão e ansiedade (HADS-D e HADS-A) e QOLIE-31 para estimar a qualidade de vida. Resultados: Foram entrevistados 10 pacientes, no período de janeiro a setembro de 2019. A média de idade de 34,7 anos, 50% do sexo feminino e média de escolaridade de 11 anos. Os pacientes obtiveram pontuação média de 3,70 na escala GASE, 9,20 na HADS-A, 7,90 na HADS-D e 50,92 na escala QOLIE-31. Houve correlação estatisticamente significante entre as escalas HADS-A e HADS-D (r: 0,886, p=0.001) e entre HADS-A e QOLIE-31 (r: -0,649, p=0.042). Conclusão: A severidade das crises epilépticas em pacientes com EFR em uso de DC não pode ser correlacionada com a QV.
