Abstract

Introduction: Fournier's syndrome is a multibacterial infection that mainly affects the perineal region; its treatment includes clinical stabilization of the patient, large expectrum antibiotic therapy and several debridements. Due to extensive tissue loss, reconstruction of the region is necessary, with partial skin grafting being a good alternative. Objective: to present a possibility other than the use of flaps - less aggressive - in perineal construction. Methods: We present two cases of partial skin grafting in the scrotal region, after preparing the recipient bed with a non-adherent petrolatum dressing bag. Conclusion: As described by Morey et al., partial skin grafting in a scrotum is a functional and safe alternative for some cases. Although not the gold standard, it presents itself as an effective and low-cost option.
