TENDÊNCIA TEMPORAL DAS INTERNAÇÕES POR FEBRE REUMÁTICA AGUDA NO BRASIL ENTRE 2009-2019

Objetivo: Analisar a tendência temporal de internação por Febre Reumática Aguda no Brasil entre 2009 e 2019. Método: Estudo ecológico de série temporal, realizado com dados do Sistema de Internação Hospitalar (SIH) do Departamento de Informática do SUS (Datasus). Foi calculada a Variação Anual Percentual (VAP) e a Taxa de Internação de cada faixa etária por sexo, sexo e regiões do Brasil, assim como custos (em Reais) e caráter de atendimento. Para a análise das tendências temporais foi utilizado o método de regressão linear simples. Resultados: Observou-se 42.226 internações por FR no Brasil com tendência de redução na taxa geral, taxa média 1,89 casos/100 mil habitantes e redução de 70,62% (p <0,001). Redução das taxas em ambos os sexos (p <0,001), masculino: β= -0,233 e feminino: β= -0,242, com taxa média de 1,87 e 1,92 casos/100 mil habitantes e redução de 70,37% e 70,55%, respectivamente. Redução nas taxas segundo sexo e faixas etárias (p <0,001). Observada redução das taxas nas regiões do país (p <0,001) com maior redução no Sul (β= -0,383; p <0,001), Sudeste (β= -0,147; p <0,001) e Centro-Oeste (β= -0.356; p <0,001) com redução de 76,01%, 72,24% e 72,00%, respectivamente. Redução dos custos e em ambos os caráteres de internação foram evidenciados. Conclusão: Redução da tendência temporal de internação por FR Aguda no Brasil em ambos os sexos e faixas etárias por sexo, com maiores reduções nas regiões Sul, Sudeste e Centro-Oeste, assim como redução no caráter eletivo e emergencial das internações e nos custos hospitalares.
