EPIDEMIOLOGICAL PROFILE AND SURGICAL OUTCOMES IN THE TREATMENT OF GYNECOMASTIA AT SANTA CASA DE PORTO ALEGRE

A ginecomastia é uma condição benigna caracterizada pelo aumento da mama masculina devido à proliferação do componente glandular, podendo ser bilateral ou unilateral. As opções cirúrgicas incluem a lipoaspiração, ressecção glandular, e ressecção de excedente cutâneo sendo a escolha da técnica dependente do grau de ginecomastia. Este estudo incluiu pacientes com alterações mamárias encaminhados para tratamento cirúrgico, via SUS, ao Serviço de Cirurgia Plástica da Santa Casa de Porto Alegre em 2023. Os pacientes foram seguidos por, no mínimo, seis meses. Foram incluídos 12 pacientes, 23 mamas. A técnica mais utilizada foi a mastectomia sem remoção de pele, associada à lipoaspiração. Graus leves a moderados de ginecomastia foram os mais prevalentes. As complicações foram raras, de baixa gravidade e de manejo simples. Os resultados reforçam a eficácia do tratamento e destacam a importância da avaliação individualizada para determinar a melhor técnica cirúrgica.
