AVALIAÇÃO DO PERFIL EPIDEMIOLÓGICO DE PACIENTES COM TRANSTORNO DO DÉFICIT DE ATENÇÃO E HIPERATIVIDADE EM UM MUNICÍPIO DO SUL DE SANTA CATARINA

Resumo

O Transtorno do Déficit de Atenção e Hiperatividade (TDAH) é um distúrbio do neurodesenvolvimento que causa impactos educacionais e sociais nos indivíduos acometidos e está associado a uma ampla variedade de transtornos psiquiátricos coexistentes. Este estudo teve como objetivo descrever o perfil epidemiológico de pacientes com TDAH em um município do sul de Santa Catarina. Trata-se de um estudo retrospectivo descritivo, com coleta de dados secundários de prontuários. Os dados coletados foram analisados com o auxílio do software GNU PSPP. Foram avaliados 61 pacientes com TDAH atendidos no serviço de neurologia da Unidade de Referência em Saúde de Cocal do Sul, Santa Catarina, no período de janeiro de 2021 a julho de 2024. O presente estudo encontrou que 72,1% dos pacientes se encontravam na faixa etária de 0 a 11 anos e que 57,4% apresentavam comorbidades associadas, sendo que 19,7% tinham insônia, 27,9% apresentavam Transtorno Opositor Desafiador e 19,7% possuíam Transtorno de Ansiedade Generalizada. Além disso, 44,2% eram portadores do tipo misto, 30,8% apresentavam o tipo predominantemente desatento e 25,0% apresentavam o tipo predominantemente hiperativo-impulsivo. Esses achados indicam a necessidade de manejo apropriado das condições de saúde associadas, a fim de evitar os prejuízos socioeducacionais que esse transtorno pode acarretar.
