Abstract

Contexto: Tumores do trato gastrointestinal tem interesse especial de estudo para sua detecção cada vez mais precoce e tratamento mais eficaz. Podem acometer variadas áreas do trato gastrointestinal e em alguns casos existem afecções tumorais do intestino delgado e mesentério, sendo este último a primeira suspeita do caso em questão . Objetivo: Relatar um caso de tumor de intestino delgado desde sua investigação precoce até seu tratamento objetivo com ideia de guiar futuras prodepêuticas. Métodos: Trata-se de um relato de caso. Foram reunidos dados de prontuários, exames radiológicos e anatomopatológicos para definir a resolução e surgimento do tumor em questão. Resultados: Tumores de intestino delgado são potencialmente letais e podem acontecer em proximidade de regiões nobres como a artérias de alto fluxo, algo que torna seu manejo importante a ser estudado. Conclusão: A opção cirúrgica aberta teve êxito em remover e tratar o tumor de intestino delgado.
