Keywords:

Introduction: Capsular contracture results from exacerbated fibrosis in response to breast implants. Plastic surgery consider this capsule a potential source of tissue. This article, describes a patient who underwent secondary mammaplasty by the employment of the anterior capsule (AC) in the inframammary fold ( IMF) for reinforcement. Objectives: Describe the surgical technique. Methods: Description of electronic medical record, and fotographic registration of the patient. Results: Patient submitted to secondary mammaplasty associated with reposition of AC in IMF by capsulorrhaphy technique. Discussion: AC repositioned in IMF as flap is efficient to correct malposition and symmastia, considering intrinsic force and great vascularization of its use. Conclusion:Capsulorrhaphy positioned in IMF, is an effective method to proportionate support, it gives contour and size to the breast, resulting in good aesthetic, correcting asymmetries and the depression of the lower lobes.
