Chest wall reconstruction after extensive tumor resections are complex and challenging procedures. The use of myocutaneous flaps is the best option to obtain good aesthetic and functional result. Various flaps are classically used. The present report presents the case of a patient who underwent bilateral hygienic modified radical mastectomy due to the progres-sion of an invasive ductal carcinoma and reconstruction of the defect with a combined verti-cal and transverse rectus abdominis myocutaneous flap.
