Abstract

The study plans "L" scar mammoplasty based on the golden ratio. The A point is located at the junction of a horizontal line that passes through the sternal projection of the breast crease with an oblique line that starts from the U point, located at the navel, and opens at a 60 degree angle towards the shoulders. From point A, the lateral axis also departs at an angle of 60 degrees, whose junction with the medial axis will form the new mammary cone. The union of the oblique axis with the breast crease marks the point P1, whose distance to the sternal midpoint must be at least 8 cm. The new CAP site starts at point A, in an arcuate line, on the medial and lateral axes, points B' and C'. It varies from 4cm, 4.5cm to 5cm depending on the size of the breast. Ex. in small breasts the distance between AB' and AC' will be 4x phi(1.618) = 6.5cm. Therefore AB 'and AC' will be 7.2cm to 8 cm. The measurement from B'B and C'C will be 5 to 6 cm. Flaccidity is compensated in the periareolar region.
