OTOPLASTIA – UMA SUGESTÃO DE SISTEMATIZAÇÃO DE TÉCNICAS

Orelhas proeminentes são a deformidade mais frequente das anomalias auriculares congênitas, acometendo, aproximadamente, 5% da população Brasileira. As técnicas para sua correção tiveram muitas variações ao longo do tempo. Diversos autores contribuíram com muito êxito nesta evolução, no entanto, a taxa de complicações demonstradas pela literatura ainda ficam em patamares que merecem atenção. Neste objetivo, trazemos esta sistematização de técnicas, com o intuito de redução de desfechos adversos pós-operatórios e maior conforto e satisfação ao paciente.
