RELAÇÃO ENTRE TOLERÂNCIA AO ESFORÇO FÍSICO NO TESTE ERGOMÉTRICO E QUALIDADE DA VIDA SEXUAL

As doenças cardiovasculares, estilo de vida e disfunção erétil estão relacionadas. Este trabalho é um estudo observacional, analítico e transversal que visa identificar sinais de disfunção erétil, correlacionando-os à capacidade funcional em equivalente metabólico (MET). Foram avaliados pacientes masculinos adultos, sexualmente ativos, com indicação de teste ergométrico, segundo a III Diretrizes de Teste Ergométrico da Sociedade Brasileira de Cardiologia (2010), sendo a maioria cardiopata, submetidos a ergometria no Instituto de Cardiologia de Santa Catarina, no período de julho a dezembro de 2015. Aplicou-se o Índice Internacional de Função Erétil(IIFE), além de entrevista, com posterior análise do resultado da ergometria. Utilizou-se a correlação não paramétrica de Kendall, teste t de Student e o programa Statistical Package for the Social Sciences(SPSS®). Foram considerados significativos valores de p < 0,05. A população amostral apresenta idade média de 51,1 ± 11,52 anos, com prevalência de 55% de disfunção erétil de algum grau. Demonstrou-se que há correlação positiva significativa entre capacidade funcional e todos os domínios da função sexual do IIFE (função erétil, desejo sexual, orgasmo, satisfação sexual e satisfação geral). Deve-se considerar a importância clínica da disfunção erétil, inclusive como marcador precoce de angina e eventos cardiovasculares. Por isso, faz-se importante a abordagem do tema pelos profissionais de saúde com seus pacientes e o adequado manejo da disfunção erétil e de comorbidades associadas, bem como mudança no estilo de vida.
