USO DE EQUIPAMENTOS DE PROTEÇÃO INDIVIDUAL NA ATENÇÃO PRIMÁRIA DURANTE A PANDEMIA DE COVID-19: UMA REVISÃO INTEGRATIVA

Resumo

A Atenção Primária à Saúde enfrentou uma pandemia de COVID-19 com intenso esforço para evitar a disseminação do vírus e ajudar a evitar o colapso no sistema de saúde. O objetivo desse trabalho foi identificar as recomendações para o uso de equipamento de proteção individual e higienização das mãos para evitar a infecção por COVID-19 em profissionais de Atenção Primária à Saúde. Realizou-se uma revisão integrativa nas bases PubMed, Cochrane, ScienceDirect e Scielo. Foram incluídos estudos em português, inglês e espanhol, publicados de 2019 a 2020. Foram excluídos os estudos fizeram recomendações do uso de equipamento de proteção individual à profissionais da atenção especializada. Adicionalmente foi feita uma busca na literatura cinzenta através do Google chegando aos sites de organizações públicas de saúde e ministérios de saúde dos países parra identificar guidelines para o uso de equipamento de proteção individual na Atenção Primária à Saúde. Foram encontrados 1347 estudos. A revisão incluiu dois artigos publicados em revistas indexadas e oito guidelines. Todos os estudos foram publicados em 2020.  A higiene das mãos, máscaras, luvas, avental e proteção facial são equipamentos indicados para Atenção Primária à Saúde.
