REMODELAMENTO COSTAL EM CIRURGIA PLÁSTICA: UMA REVISÃO SISTEMÁTICA

A flacidez abdominal e a melhoria do contorno corporal, especialmente na relação cintura-quadril (RCQ), tem sido um desafio da cirurgia plástica. Técnicas como plicatura muscular e descolamento de pele evoluíram, mas a parede torácica ainda limita os resultados. A remoção de costelas, apesar de estudada, enfrenta resistências devido aos riscos, como pneumotórax. Recentemente, técnicas conservadoras, como fraturas monocorticais e o uso de piezômetros ultrassônicos, têm mostrado resultados promissores. A revisão de artigos sobre remodelamento costal revelou que a osteotomia monocortical com piezótomo resulta em reduções de até 13 cm na cintura, com complicações mínimas, como queimaduras e seromas. O uso de placas de osteossíntese, que dispensam o corset, também mostrou bons resultados. Essas técnicas têm um perfil de segurança elevado, mas mais estudos a longo prazo são necessários para avaliar a durabilidade dos resultados e comparar diferentes abordagens.
